Description:Trade compliance professional needed to join a dynamic International Trade Compliance Team. The selected candidate will support the Australian Defense Strategic Capability Office supporting the Guided Weapons and Explosive Ordnance (GWEO) Enterprise within the Lockheed Martin Missile and Fire Control business area, and other duties, as assigned. Successful candidate will be responsible for developing comprehensive licensing plans and providing guidance for licensing strategy and program planning; Provides guidance and training to program personnel; Accurately interprets Government regulations and Corporate policy; Develops and manages submissions and execution of licenses, agreements, exemption authorizations, transaction exceptions, and other regulatory approvals. Develops and provides training on agreement and license limitations and provisos; Coordinates with Corporate International Trade Compliance office on submittals and USG inquiries; Supports compliance assessment and audits.
Must have ability to obtain a Secret security clearance. Apply knowledge and understanding of export regulatory definitions as they apply to jurisdiction and classification (J/C). Work with program personnel to understand products, technology, software, and services utilized in the Australian Defense Strategic Capability Office supporting the Guided Weapons and Explosive Ordnance (GWEO) Enterprise ADSCO/GWEO business. Proactively collaborate with stakeholders in developing effective licensing strategy and submission of applicable license/amendment applications. Review and authorize proper use of export license exemptions/exceptions.
Provide guidance on the scope of license authorizations and have the ability to interpret USG provisos and limitations.
Research, analyze, and interpret engineering designs, and functional capabilities across multiple engineering disciplines including software, mechanical, electrical, materials, and systems engineering.
Assist in identifying and addressing technology and policy issues and concerns impacting existing and emerging technologies, products, and services.
Act as a liaison between International Trade Compliance, Program Management, Program Engineering, and other functional disciplines to provide export compliance analysis, interpretive guidance, and training in support of programs and international business.
Maintain oversight and manage compliance with export/import authorizations.
Manage licensing and compliance actions.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor''''s degree
ITAR export licensing and compliance experience
Experience with Export Administration (EAR).
Experience writing export license applications, technical assistance agreements and manufacturing license agreements.
Ability to interpret USG provisos and limitations. Compliance experience including implementing process improvements, conducting self-assessments and corrective actions. Superior written and verbal communication skills
Ability to effectively interface with all levels both independently and as a contributing team member
Self-motivated with excellent organizational skills
Demonstrate attention to detail. Must have ability to obtain a Secret security clearance Ability to travel as required.
Desired Skills:
Experience working on Foreign Military Sales (FMS) and international Direct Commercial Sales (DCS) programs.
Experience with product classifications (J/Cs).
US Certified Export Control Officer
Familiarity of USG Technology Release policies
Experience with BATF licensing and compliance
Familiarity with the Foreign Military Sales process and related regulations
Familiarity with bilateral and multi-national export control regimes such as Missile Technology Control Regime, UK and Australia Defense Trade Treaties and Wassenaar Group
Ability to work multiple challenging tasks simultaneously and discern priorities
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Full-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work remotely full time at a location other than a Lockheed Martin designated office/job site. Employees may travel to a Lockheed Martin office for periodic meetings.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in Colorado or Washington is $102,000 - $195,500. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full time employees: accrue 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO); receive 40 hours of Granted PTO annually for incidental absences; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of PTO per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO is prorated based on hours worked and start date during the calendar year. This position is incentive plan eligible.
Pay Rate:
