Mission Specialist - Intelligence Advisor Department: Federal Employment Type: Full Time Location: McLean, VA Reporting To: Troy Mann Description We are seeking an experienced Intelligence Advisor to join our growing company as part of a large, customer-run program with a specialized mission-focus. The Mission Specialist will collaborate with a diverse group of individuals across the Intelligence Community and directly contribute to the process that shapes government policy and impactful operations. Key Responsibilities * Long-Term TDY travel required for 2-3 months at a time * Manage multiple research projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment * Project planning to include: operational concept development, stakeholder engagement, and implementation of an operation. * Preparation and presentation of written and oral briefings to all levels of customer management This position has no supervisory responsilities. Skills, Knowledge and Expertise * A Bachelor''''s degree is required for the position. * Minimum of 20 years'''' experience in the IC as a certified operations officer * U.S. Citizenship * Requires an active TS/SCI w/ Poly * Requires 4 overseas PCS tours or TDY''''s equaling the same amount of time as 4 PCS''''s * Chief / Deputy Chief of overseas or domestic locations outside the Washington DC area * High degree of personal integrity * Senior field management experience required * Excellent analytical skills and problem-solving abilities * Attention to detail and the ability to effectively follow-through and manage status reporting and scheduling * Familiarity with the customer''''s report writing standards * Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well both independently and as part of a team * Strong mentoring skills * Basic familiarity with both tactical and strategic military operations * Served significant time in Africa * Familiarity with various Intelligence Community partners and their operations * Proficiency with software and databases used in support of research and analysis for the U.S. Government * Foreign language proficiency is a plus, but not required * Ability to travel domestically or internationally to a location for a period of 70 - 90 days at a time * Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer * Routine video conference and/or in-person meetings * Ability to attend planned meetings within the Washington Metro Area region periodically
