We are looking for someone who is willing to solve problems to join us as a Modeling and Simulation Lead Systems Engineer in Washington, DC. What will you do? * Formulating and defining system scope and objectives for assigned projects. * Devising or modifying procedures to solve complex problems considering computer equipment capacity and limitations, operating time, and form of desired results. * Preparing detailed specifications which will guide and scope future follow-on design work. * Employing full technical knowledge of all phases of systems analysis and System-of-Systems principles. * Support technical reviews of drawings, interfaces, and specifications of Naval systems and networks. * Generate and deliver timely status updates, weekly reports, and briefing materials as required. Do you have what it takes? * Bachelor''''s Degree in Engineering (or related field) OR 10 Year(s) Experience in Systems Engineering, DoD systems architectures, design, development, and/or test and evaluation. * Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of: * Communication and Briefing Skills * Conceptual Knowledge of US Navy Combat Systems * Comprehensive Understanding of Navy Weapon System Performance * Configuration Management Concepts * DoD / DoN Procedures and Policies (DoD 5000 Process) * DoD T&E organizational and functional structures (NAVSEA, field activities, other contracted support) * Expertise in Test and Evaluation Master Planning * Expertise in Test Requirements, Test Planning, Scheduling and Execution * Expertise in Test Data Analytics as it relates to predictive analysis * Security Classification Guides (as applicable) * Foreign Military Sales (FMS) Familiarity * Program and Personnel Management * Risk Management Policies and Assessment * Must be able to obtain and maintain a secret clearance. * Must be a US Citizen.
