THIS POSITION IS CONTINGENT UPON CONTRACT AWARD Role Player Manager Primary Location: Fort Polk, LA Must be a U.S Citizen Security Clearance: Secret Must have military experience Summary: Role Player Manager (RPM) is responsible for training, managing, and coordinating Role Player (RP) support to the 3-353rd Security Cooperation/Security Force Assistance Training Battalion for up to 17 total yearly training events by assisting in executing a variety of training exercises, large and small. The RPM is the continuity and the on the ground expert of VALEXs, PMTs, and AMPs as she or he will have seen more combined events than any one person in the organization. The RPM is the full-time depth for AMPs. While at training events, the RPM shall help shape the training by communicating trends of the training audience to the exercise control cell, in addition to their daily duties as a role player as necessary to support given missions. When there is no training event, the RPM provides day to day support on tasks such as developing orders (battalion through division), scenario design, role player integration, AARs, etc. The RPM will participate in all training development meetings, in-process reviews, working groups, etc. Specific responsibilities include, ensuring RPs are prepared for the training scenario and understand all role play instructions. This includes: personality sheets, foreign military rank structure, uniform wear and foreign military/government affairs as outlined in the scenario. Other duties include but are not limited to: attend unit coordination meetings, brief unit leadership as necessary, assist unit cadre, and oversight of scenario execution. Team Lead will coordinate with supply personnel for mission required props (flags, uniforms, photos, etc.), ensure each RP has the correct uniform with the correct rank, arrange for RP lodging and installation access, ensure RPs complete and submit invoices for payment, and maintain accurate/up-to-date rosters of RPs. Responsibilities: * Assist in the selection and assignment of Role Players in accordance with the Training Support Requests * Assist in planning and executing transportation of RPs to mission sites and lodging locations * Assist in the planning and supporting the lodging of RPs * Provide logistical support to the unit and the RPs, to include coordination of shipping training props / supplies and storage * Set up/tear down of replicated environment; Issue and turn-in of uniforms and props * Ensure RPs submit expense reports and assist when necessary * Conduct scenario rehearsals with RPs prior to mission execution * Provide guidance to RPs on their assigned roles to ensure all understand their part in the mission * Meticulously track time requirements during mission execution to ensure contractual agreements are met * Assist Scenario Development with production/creation of scenario products * Liaison between unit and RPs during mission execution ensuring all requirements are being met * Provide feedback to unit/RPs in a combined effort to continually improve mission * Keep detailed records of RPs, their invoices, and missions * Provide transportation and oversite of RPs while maintaining 100% accountability during mission execution * Ensure all entry coordination efforts have been made with military installations prior to travel * Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint * Prepare daily reports during missions and submit to management for progress update and issues * Other duties as required Minimum Qualifications: * SECRET Clearance * Effective multi-tasking skills, and the ability to work cooperatively with others in a dynamic environment * Willing to travel up to 40% of the time (CONUS) * Competent with Microsoft Office (Word/PowerPoint) * Excellent communication skills and comfortable engaging senior US military personnel * Must maintain current driver''''s license * At least two (2) years of military or civilian experience commensurate with management of all aspects of this position description. Desired Qualifications: * Bachelor''''s Degree from accredited institution * Extensive knowledge of Army Doctrine (Brigade level and below); experience on a battalion or brigade level staff * Completion of ILE/CGSC/SLC * Familiar with the mission of the 3-353rd BN * Recent deployment experience * Transition Team Experience (Europe, Middle East, North Africa) Other Requirements: US Citizenship required for this Position: Yes Performance Location: Fort Polk, LA, Camp Atterbury, IN and other CONUS locations Relocation Assistance: No Clearance Type: Secret Travel Required: Yes Military Experience: Yes Working Environment: Austere and non-austere work environments to include working outdoors in winter environments.
