Job Description
Overview SUPPLY TECHNICIAN (USATC-2023-18715): Bowhead is seeking a Supply Technician to join our team at Fort Jackson, SC in conducting supply duties to resolve issues encountered in the Central Issue Facility (CIF) supporting the Logistics Readiness Center (LRC). Typical duties will include standard segments of supply management operations and a successful candidate must have a good working knowledge of the governing supply systems, programs, supply regulations, policies, work methods, or other established guidelines in place at the LRC. Responsibilities Essential functions will include: * Executing property transfers, issues, receipts and storage activities (including but not limited to posting and editing documentation within all appropriate STAMIS).
* Preparing appropriate documents for issue or turn-in for OCIE for individual soldiers and enter data into the Installations Support Module (ISM) for accountability.
* Defining issues, researching data to correct errors and taking or recommending action to correct and prevent further issues based on application and interpretation of established guidelines.
* Other duties as assigned Qualifications * A High School diploma or equivalent is required in addition to at least two (2+) years of Supply Technician experience * Must have a good working knowledgeable of Army regulations; systems, programs, policies, nomenclature, work methods, manuals, or other established guidelines. * Intermediate to advanced level skills in Microsoft Office software suite - Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint * Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees and outside contacts * Strong interpersonal skills and good judgment with the ability to work alone or as part of a team Physical Demands: * Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds * Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged amounts of time * Must be able to twist, bend and squat periodically SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Must be able to obtain a clearance at the Pubic Trust level. US Citizenship is required for a Public Trust clearance at this location. Due to the location of this work, US Citizenship is required. #LI-JA1
